What’s the Best Way to Clean Perspex ® to a High Shine?

Cleaning Perspex is easy.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s indoors or outside, all you need to do is use a soft cotton cloth and warm soapy water to wipe off any marks or grime.

Chemical cleaners will damage Perspex – so avoid them at all costs. 

However, some specialist cleaners like VuPlex polish and Xerapol acrylic scratch remover are good options, as they polish the surface of the plastic and also protect it from scratches.
 

What’s the Difference Between Perspex ® and Acrylic?

Perspex is a brand of acrylic (the same way in which hoover is a brand of vacuum).

As a result, it has the same beneficial properties as acrylic. In fact, the only difference between Perspex and acrylic is that Perspex is a trade name.
