Covid 19 – Material shortage

Dear Customer,

Due to the requirement of businesses and workplaces to provide social distancing safety measures we have seen an unprecedented volume of enquiries and orders for clear Perspex, Polycarbonate and PETG for use as Safety Screens.

This has created an uncontrollable shortage of material in our stock which in turn has had the same effect on the producers of the above materials. They are now quoting several weeks to produce.

The above issues have placed an overwhelming burden on our sales and warehouse teams who are trying their utmost to provide a normal service, but it is just not possible at present.

If you are placing an order/enquiry or chasing up goods you already have on order the following will apply.
 

• Orders: The acknowledgement date you receive is only an estimate. When the goods are about to be despatched, you will be advised.
• Enquiries: These are at present taking several days to be responded to.
• Chasing goods: Please accept that you will receive the goods at some point and will be advised upon despatch.
• We would ask that you refrain from ringing the sales office for any of the above information as they not in a position to help at the moment.

We sincerely hope that the situation will improve in the next few weeks and we apologise for not being able to provide our normal service.
