Upcycling Projects

If you’re the sort of person who hates to throw things away and are looking for some inspiration for how breath life into your old items, take a look at these great photographs sent in by our very talented customers.

Vintage Trunk Coffee Table

A cut to size piece of clear acrylic has been added to the top of this vintage travelling trunk by a very creative customer. Not only does the acrylic protect the trunk from damage, it also forms a flat and easy to clean surface for serving drinks and snacks.

Upcycled Picture Frame

Acrylic mirror panels have been cut to size to fit perfectly into this old photograph frame. The frame has then been given a wash with white chalk paint before the edging detail on the wooden frame has been picked out in the same paint.

Updated Bedroom Furniture

This bedroom furniture has been brought right up to date with a simple lick of paint and some modern handles before being topped off with a clear acrylic furniture protector.

Rum Bar

For a bit more of an in depth project, take a look at this amazing Rum Bar which has been created by one of our incredibly talented customers. 12mm clear acrylic, an old upright piano and (we imagine) a large amount of hard work has resulted in this stunning piece of furniture.
