Bespoke, Made To Measure Acrylic Photo And Picture Frames
Display your photographs and artwork in a wall mounted acrylic photo frame made to the size you require. We cut up to 4mm thick crystal clear acrylic to the sizes you need and you can choose your own fittings from our menu above to create the display you want. Transparent acrylic frames are a great alternative to floating glass picture frames or art frames and make changing your displays easy and quick to do.
Your made-to-measure acrylic frame will consist of 2 pieces of acrylic to create a lovely effect as there is nothing to distract from your artwork and images contained within appear to float on any wall. Also know as glass on glass picture frames or a floating picture frame, these frames are perfect for creating a ‘frameless photo’ effect.

Fixing Your Acrylic Frame Flat To The Wall
Acrylic frames can hang flat to the wall or stand slightly off the wall. Achieve this look by selecting our standard holes with screws which can be covered by screw caps for a smarter finish. They are all available to select in the above Quote Calculator when you select the number of holes you require for hanging.
Fixing Your Acrylic Frame To Stand-Off The Wall
Acrylic frames can be fixed to stand slightly off the wall. To achieve this look choose either our polished chrome or satin wall fixings. They are all available to select in the above Quote Calculator when you select the number of holes you require for hanging. We offer stands offs of either 19mm or 25mm. Stand-off is the size of the gap you will have between the wall and your frame.

- You can upload a drawing to show us what you require and this will drawing will come to us at the same time you place your order.
How To Plan Your Border
If you would prefer to order acrylic frames which are larger than your print size and allow a clear border around the print then please enter the size of your image plus the size of your desired border. For the fixings to be in the centre of the free space around your artwork add a 50mm border all the way round i.e. 100mm to each dimension. The minimum border to prevent the fixings overlapping the artwork would be 35mm i.e 70mm to each dimension. Alternatively, for a ‘frameless photo’ effect, allow your artwork or photo go right to the edge of the acrylic frame.

Helpful Notes
- We drill holes 25mm from the edge unless you specify otherwise. There is room in our checkout to add notes about a preference if you have one.
- We suggest a fixing every 500mm. Our fixings will hold the 2 acrylic panels together and effectively 'trap' your artwork in place.
- If you choose wall mounts, 5mm screws are required for mounting which are not supplied.

We offer three delivery options, Standard (from £9.96), Next Day (from £24.00) and Named Day (from £33.00). Delivery options will be dependent on material availability, lead-time and geographic location.
When ordering, an estimated delivery date will be offered before payment. Depending on material, any fabrication work needed (polished edges, drilled holes, rounded corners) and geographic location; you'll have the opportunity to choose a delivery option to suit you at checkout. You can even collect in-person.

Yes. When proceeding to check-out you'll have the option of collection, we are based in Leeds (LS9 0DX). Our Collection Point is open from 8.00am until 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am until 3.00pm on Fridays. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays. We'll email you when your order is ready to collect.
Protective Films
All plastic sheet products will have a Clear, Blue or White protective film on both sides or a combination of all three. This is to protect during transit and needs removing before usage. Sometimes it can be difficult to peel off but use a thumbnail gently on any corner to lift and peel. Alternatively gently wet any corner with a cloth to separate film and peel.
Adhesives & Sealants
When using any adhesives or sealants with your plastic sheet product great care must be taken in ensuring its compatibility. Some products can react adversely and either not bond/seal properly or would cause the acrylic to cloud or become white at the bond line. Refer to our web pages for advice if unsure. Check your sealant/adhesives ‘use by date’ to ensure its still current for best performance in your project.
Delivery Damages
You have 14 days from receiving your order to report any visible damages. Please email a photograph of the damage along with your order number and contact details as soon as possible to service@theplasticpeople.co.uk. We'll arrange a refund or replacement for you as soon as we receive this. Please keep your packaging and do not use the damaged goods, so they can be collected and returned to us if necessary.
