Keeping Pets Warm Through Winter

Project Overview

If you have pets that live outdoors, keeping them warm during winter months is always a concern.  As temperatures drop it is important to keep out the draughts that can otherwise creep into pet enclosures, outdoor hutches and kennels. Learn how to quickly and inexpensively keep your pets warmer this winter with acrylic

Step by Step

Step 1 - Spot The Draughty Areas

Acrylic can be used to cover over open, wire or mesh window areas where winter winds can blow through. Measure up the length and width of the space to be covered. Order acrylic cut to this size with holes pre-drilled in where you want to screw fix the acrylic into place.

Check out pictures sent to us from pet owners - acrylic covers the mesh windows for the rabbits at Foal Farm as well as on a dog kennel and a chicken coop:)

Step 2 - Measure Out Your Sizes or Shape
If you need acrylic cut to fit a shape , measure where the cuts need to be made. We can always cut your shape ready for you to fit if you email us a sketch of it.    You might need a shape creating for a special purpose, like the protective covering on this picture kindly sent by one of our customers for their tortoise to shelter under.
