We supply acrylic sheets cut to your exact measurements, making it simple to replace broken glass or upgrade existing windows in your shed or summerhouse. For the best results, we recommend a minimum thickness of 3mm to provide adequate rigidity and stability. While 2mm acrylic may be suitable for smaller panels, it can be too flexible for larger window sizes.

How To Order Your Acrylic Window Panes For Your Shed Or Summerhouse
- Simply enter the measurements of your existing windows panes into our Quote Calculator above and we'll safely deliver acrylic window panes, ready to go in your shed or summerhouse.
- If you would like any special shapes cut, choose our Cut To Shape tab on the Quote Calculator above. Alternatively, email us a drawing for a quote.
- You can upload a drawing to show us what you require (for example, where you would like holes drilled) and this will come to us at the same time you place your order.

How Do I Fit Replacement Shed Or Summerhouse Windows?
If your replacement panels are the same size and thickness as your original panels you should be able to fit them in exactly the same way. On wooden frames you can even drill and screw acrylic on, it won’t break. If you prefer, we can drill any holes for you, just let us know how many you'd like (we generally recommend a hole every 300mm) by completing the optional extras section when you place your order.

Next Day Delivery - £41.25 (Important)
We can fulfill orders for clear Acrylic (Perspex), Polycarbonate and PETG next day delivery (postcodes apply). Please order before 1pm. Orders received after 1pm will be delivered the following working day after. Working days are Monday to Friday; weekends and public holidays are excluded.
If any items ordered on a next day delivery are out of stock, we will contact you to organise alternative arrangements.
Next day delivery can only be fulfilled on these products if:-
- We recieve your order before 1pm.
- The product is straight cut, no shapes.
- No finishing or fabrication work required like polished edges or holes.
- Your postcode area is within achievable delivery time limits.
If you are buying online, payments can be made securely by credit, debit card and PayPal. We don’t accept AMEX (American Express).
A break-down at final check-out will illustrate all the costs incurred including shipping and VAT. Any VAT exception would be established based on geographic location (postcode) at the time of ordering.

We offer three delivery options, Standard (from £12.45), Next Day (from £30.00) and Named Day (from £41.25). Delivery options will be dependent on material availability, lead-time and geographic location.
When ordering, an estimated delivery date will be offered before payment. Depending on material, any fabrication work needed (polished edges, drilled holes, rounded corners) and geographic location; you'll have the opportunity to choose a delivery option to suit you at checkout. You can even collect in-person.
To track your DX consignment have your tracking number, calling card number, consignment number or customer reference ready. You may also be asked for your delivery postcode.

You are welcome to collect your order from our Collection Point - please select this option during checkout. This service is free if you are local to our Leeds site (LS9 0DX). Our Collection Point is open from 8am until 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 12.30pm on Fridays. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays.
Protective Films
All plastic sheet products will have a Clear, Blue or White protective film on both sides or a combination of all three. This is to protect during transit and needs removing before usage. Sometimes it can be difficult to peel off but use a thumbnail gently on any corner to lift and peel. Alternatively gently wet any corner with a cloth to separate film and peel.
Adhesives & Sealants
When using any adhesives or sealants with your plastic sheet product great care must be taken in ensuring its compatibility. Some products can react adversely and either not bond/seal properly or would cause the acrylic to cloud or become white at the bond line. Refer to our web pages for advice if unsure. Check your sealant/adhesives ‘use by date’ to ensure its still current for best performance in your project.
Delivery Damages
You have 14 days from receiving your order to report any visible damages. Please email a photograph of the damage along with your order number and contact details as soon as possible to service@theplasticpeople.co.uk. We'll arrange a refund or replacement for you as soon as we receive this. Please keep your packaging and do not use the damaged goods, so they can be collected and returned to us if necessary.
