White PVC Extruded Sheets

The extruded white PVC plastic sheets (made using PVC routing) available here at The Plastic People have a smooth finish. The colour white has a strong presence in the display and hygienic market, whilst offering an alternative to grey for fabrication use.

Our extruded white PVC sheets also have a maximum long term service temperature of plus 60°C and a melting point of around plus 75°C. By being an excellent electrical insulator, the extruded plastic sheets can be used to protect electrical components too.

Then there's the fact that our white PVC panels boast a very low moisture absorption, so will work to keep components stable in a damp or wet atmosphere. By having a very good chemical and acid resistance, they are also great products where acid resistance is a benefit.

Buy your PVC extruded white PVC sheets online today. If you would like a different colour, we also stock Grey Extruded Sheets.

Protective Films

All plastic sheet products will have a Clear, Blue or White protective film on both sides or a combination of all three. This is to protect during transit and needs removing before usage. Sometimes it can be difficult to peel off but use a thumbnail gently on any corner to lift and peel. Alternatively gently wet any corner with a cloth to separate film and peel.

Adhesives & Sealants

When using any adhesives or sealants with your plastic sheet product great care must be taken in ensuring its compatibility. Some products can react adversely and either not bond/seal properly or would cause the acrylic to cloud or become white at the bond line. Refer to our web pages for advice if unsure. Check your sealant/adhesives ‘use by date’ to ensure its still current for best performance in your project.
