Acrylic Outdoor Table Protectors
Our Acrylic table top protectors look like glass yet are 10 x stronger so make an excellent and safer alternative to glass tops. If your garden table has been damaged, these toppers will make a great glass replacement for your garden table. We make outdoor table protectors from our Clear as Glass Acrylic and can cut them to the size you need, ensuring it fits your outdoor garden table perfectly. For indoor use we have Acrylic table tops and protectors.
Fitting: We supply your outdoor table protector to the sizes you provide so it will arrive ready to simply cover your garden table. If you are concerned about your garden table protector slipping choose our CLEAR Round Self Adhesive Rubber Stops from our menu above for a more secure finish. Packs contain 20 Rubber Stops sized 11mm x 2mm each. They are made of clear polyurethane coated with a powerful pressure sensitive adhesive to the back. In practice we have found that using a Rubber Stop every 300mm to 500mm is extremely effective in stopping the plexiglass table protector from moving about when in use.
Maintenance: Use warm water with a small amount of mild detergent and a soft cotton cloth to wipe your acrylic table top protector clean. Alternatively choose acrylic cleaner VuPlex which polishes acrylic to a high shine in seconds. You can add it to your order here: VuPlex acrylic cleaner.

We offer three delivery options, Standard (from £9.96), Next Day (from £24.00) and Named Day (from £33.00). Delivery options will be dependent on material availability, lead-time and geographic location.
When ordering, an estimated delivery date will be offered before payment. Depending on material, any fabrication work needed (polished edges, drilled holes, rounded corners) and geographic location; you'll have the opportunity to choose a delivery option to suit you at checkout. You can even collect in-person.

Yes. When proceeding to check-out you'll have the option of collection, we are based in Leeds (LS9 0DX). Our Collection Point is open from 8.00am until 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am until 3.00pm on Fridays. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays. We'll email you when your order is ready to collect.
Protective Films
All plastic sheet products will have a Clear, Blue or White protective film on both sides or a combination of all three. This is to protect during transit and needs removing before usage. Sometimes it can be difficult to peel off but use a thumbnail gently on any corner to lift and peel. Alternatively gently wet any corner with a cloth to separate film and peel.
Adhesives & Sealants
When using any adhesives or sealants with your plastic sheet product great care must be taken in ensuring its compatibility. Some products can react adversely and either not bond/seal properly or would cause the acrylic to cloud or become white at the bond line. Refer to our web pages for advice if unsure. Check your sealant/adhesives ‘use by date’ to ensure its still current for best performance in your project.
Delivery Damages
You have 14 days from receiving your order to report any visible damages. Please email a photograph of the damage along with your order number and contact details as soon as possible to service@theplasticpeople.co.uk. We'll arrange a refund or replacement for you as soon as we receive this. Please keep your packaging and do not use the damaged goods, so they can be collected and returned to us if necessary.
