Coloured acrylic is around half the weight of glass, but 10 x the strength – making it safer and easier to handle and work with. Since it’s also cheaper to buy, it represents a more economical option for a variety of different projects.

Like glass, acrylic comes in many colours. The most popular are shown on our site – but we can order other colours if there’s a particular shade that you’ve got your eye on. Coloured Perspex® is a vivid, vibrant and decorative option – whatever colour you choose for whatever project.

Translucent acrylic will transmit some natural light and add a pop of colour and character to whatever setting it is placed in.

Where is Coloured Perspex® Best Put to Use?

Coloured Perspex® sheets are ideal for use in bathrooms. Whether it’s for shower splashbacks or bath panels – the lightweight yet durable nature of this type of plastic will make it straightforward to fix into place, wherever it’s needed.

It can also be used for kitchen splashbacks – especially if your kitchen area has a certain colour scheme that works well. Coloured Perspex is easy to wipe down and also heat resistant up to 70 degrees.

Coloured Acrylic Perspex® Sheet Options

First of all, there are a number of different colours to choose from. There are different red acrylic sheet shades to consider, and also various shades to be aware of if you’re looking to purchase a blue acrylic sheet, for example. Therefore, it might be wise to purchase a sample just to check the colour is right before you consider placing a large order.

You can purchase coloured acrylic in two different sizes (thickness):-

• 3mm coloured acrylic sheet
• 5mm coloured acrylic sheet

We have both solid and translucent coloured acrylic sheets. The latter can transmit a minimal amount of light, whereas light is unable to travel through solid coloured acrylic. If you're looking for a special colour, don’t be afraid to get in touch with our friendly team – as they may be able to source it for you.

Delivery Options for Coloured Acrylic Perspex® Sheeting

First things first – we want to make sure that your order reaches you in perfect condition. We don’t risk your order getting damaged in transit. We ensure acrylic sheets are carefully covered and protected before they get dispatched.

When your order arrives, all you need to do is peel the protective film off the plastic and you’re good to go.

All orders are dispatched using our standard delivery service unless stated otherwise. In this case, it should arrive as soon as possible, and the cost will be displayed as you proceed through the checkout.

If you need your order to arrive quickly, then you can also pay for next day delivery – however, this will only be the case if the order is processed before 1pm on the day before.

Named day delivery on the other hand, is perfect if you have a specific day in mind where delivery will be most convenient.
