Connectors

Our connectors are made from chromed steel. Use them to join together our acrylic or PVC foamboard panels to design your own office, meeting or display space.  Choose from our 2 way, 3 way and 4 way connectors to create your own configuration / layout. 

We suggest using either acrylic panels or PVC foamboard panels of a maximum 1m x 1m size per panel.  They are both lighter yet stronger than glass so you can be confident there will be no breakage!  We suggest 3 connectors on the side of each panel you wish to connect.

Polished Edges

Our Polished Edge Service provides a high gloss shine to the edges of your plastic.  We polish  edges either with a flame or diamond polishing.  Simply tick the box to select this service.

Rounded Corners

Please enter how many corners you would like rounded.  If you require less than four corners rounding please tell us which corners they are.  

Radius - We will round corners with a 25mm radius unless you tell us otherwise.  If you would like to specify the radius you can do so as you checkout

Acrylic Screens

We have all you need to create your perfect space - and creating it is as easy as 1-2-3 with our lightweight yet incredibly tough acrylic screens and chromed steel connectors.  Use our connectors to join together our top quality acrylic screens to design your own office, meeting, display or private space.  It can be whatever you want it to be!  Choose from our 2 way, 3 way and 4 way connectors in our menu above for the flexibility you need for your own configuration / layout. 


Colours for all schemes
Our images above show some layouts we have created but designing your own is just a case of connecting acrylic screens using our connectors to create the shape you want.  We have a wide choice of colours available above - something for all schemes.  If there is a particular colour you would like which is not shown please contact us as we will most likely be able to provide it.


Shatter-proof and easy to move
We suggest using either acrylic screens of a maximum 1m x 1m size per panel.  Acrylic screens are lighter yet 10 times stronger than glass so you can be confident there will be no breakage!   In the very unlikely event of breakage, acrylic will not shatter into small sharp shards like glass.   We suggest 3 connectors on the side of each panel you wish to connect. 


Great for writing on
The very handy extra that acrylic screens offer is that dry wipe markers can be used on them - perfect for reminders and notes.


Hygienic and easy to clean 
We're often asked how to best clean acrylic sheets.  Please  use a soft cotton cloth to clean acrylic with warm soapy water.  Alterantively, we're very impressed with results from acrylic cleaner Vuplex which polishes acrylic to a high shine in minutes, keeping acrylic looking like brand new.  Add it to your order for our promotional price of £6.98.

Are Acrylic and Perspex the same ?
Perspex is a brand name for acrylic (in the same way that hoover is a brand name for a vaccum cleaner).  There are other brands of acrylic too – such as Plexiglass.
 
How can I clean acrylic ?
We suggest simply use warm soapy water and a soft cotton cloth.   Any chemical cleaner should be avoided as it is likely to damage the acrylic.  If you would like to use a cleaning product we suggest our specialist acrylic cleaner and polish Vuplex.
 
Is acrylic better than glass ?
Acrylic is 17 x stronger than glass and about half the weight of glass.

This means it is physically easier to lift, hang, carry or transport around and safer at the same time too.  Should acrylic be dropped, it is much less likely to break too.  If it does break, it will not shatter in the same way as glass.  It would not break into tiny sharp shards but into a couple of large, easy to pick up pieces.  This makes it ideal for situations where safety is paramount.

Acrylic is also clearer than glass and actually transmits more light than glass.  

 

Is acrylic heat resistant ?

Acrylic is heat resistant up to 70 degrees.

 

We offer standard, next day and named day delivery services.

Our larger orders are delivered via specialist couriers and we will email you the day before their delivery.  

Whichever delivery option you choose, you will see your expected delivery date before you checkout. If you choose our standard delivery, this date is an estimate.

Standard Delivery - £9.96 

All orders are delivered using our standard delivery service unless you choose our next day service.  
 
Standard delivery is usually 5 - 7 working days. Orders with optional extras or cut-to-shape pieces can take longer.

Where possible, we will let you know if something is going to take longer than expected.


Standard delivery dates are estimated so please allow time to receive and check your order before you need to use the material or before contractors are due to begin work. If you need your delivery for a specific day, consider using either our Next Day or Named Day shipping services.

There are certain postcodes where we cannot deliver to at our offer price of £9.00. They are postcodes with prefix letters PA and PH (charged at £30) and BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KW, PO Isle of Wight, TR and ZE (charged at £40). 


Next Day Delivery -  £33.00 

We can deliver orders for clear acrylic, polycarbonate (up to 12mm thick) and silver acrylic mirror next day.  Where next day delivery is available we will offer you this choice during checkout. 

Please order before 1pm.  Orders received after 1pm will be delivered the following working day after. Working days are Monday to Friday; weekends and public holidays are excluded.

If any items ordered on a next day delivery are out of stock, we will contact you to organise alternative arrangements.

Named Day Delivery - £24.00

We have listened to your feedback & can now offer a named day delivery service across all of our products. 

Just add your plastic to your basket and select Named Day as the delivery option, and then pick your chosen delivery day. 

No more guessing when your parcels will arrive.

Safe Delivery
If we think that your order cannot be delivered safely using our standard service, we will contact you to let you know and discuss the delivery options with you. This normally is only the case for orders so large they need to be delivered on a pallet.

We recommend you allow time between receiving your delivery and starting any work in case any part of your order needs to be replaced.


Collection - 
You are welcome to collect your order at our Trade Counter - please select this option during checkout.  This service is free.
 

Our Trade Counter is open from 8am until 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am until 3pm on Fridays. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays.
