Our stock of nylon sheets and rods includes versatile extruded and cast nylon 6 and 6.6 in a wide range of sizes. The differences in physical properties are mainly determined by the composition and structure of their molecular chains. Nylon 6 is a general purpose grade offering good machinability and coupling hardness and stiffness with high strength, good creep and wear resistance. Nylon 66 has higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat, creep and wear resistance but its mechanical dampening ability and impact strength are lower.
